Lug type body center disc butterfly valves by jupiter controls are high performance solutions to your industrial butterfly valve needs. Lug type butterfly valve is available size from 1-12” to 78” in various body, disc & seat materials. Center disc lug type butterfly valves also available with worm - gear, pneumatic actuator or electrical actuator operated, our lug type center disc butterfly valves are always manufactured with the strongest, durable and long-life materials, like: stainless steel, carbon steel, ductile iron, cast iron, aluminum, and available in different styles. The difference between a wafer and lug type body butterfly valve is only the provision of mounting of valve at pipeline. Lug type valve has lugs that are used to mount the valve to lugs that are attached the flanges on then ends of sections of pipe so that each length of pipe can be removed and replaced independently. Lug type butterfly valve have main advantage is you can disconnect any flange of pipeline.
