Locating Ring

A locating ring is something that is required for correctly locating or registering the mould in its proper position on an injection mould machine. As it helps in ensuring proper arrangement between a sprue bush and the nozzle, so that there stays no chance of any kind of leakage, it plays a very significant role as an injection mould accessory in the moulding industry.
This ring is basically a circular shaped member that is fitted on the forepart section of the mould, right above the sprue bush. Eliminating all the possibilities mould material leakage, this pin plays an effective role in attaching the mould base to the injection machine.
