We manufacture lloyd mirrors that are used for producing interference fringes. The construction of the mirror is done with the single mirror mounted in a frame of rectangular shape and this is fitted with a flat glass polished in black. This is done to avoid any reflection from the backside and makes sure that when monochromatic light falls at the grazing incidence, then interference fringes are produced.
