Liquid Oxygen plant working principle based on fractional distillation for generation of high purity Oxygen. Atmospheric air sucked by an air compressor and sent into the air purification unit where impurities such as moisture, hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide are removed. Afterwards the air is passed through heat exchangers where it is cooled to cryogenic temperatures. At this point, Oxygen is directed into the high pressure distillation column where Oxygen is physically separated from other gases and is formed at the bottom of the column at (-) 185°C.
