Liquefied Petroleum Gas is a flammable mixture of hydrocarbon gases that is extensively used as a fuel for heating appliances or vehicles. Liquefied Petroleum Gas or LPG is widely used as refrigerant and aerosol propellant. It is referred to as autogas when used for vehicles. Liquefied Petroleum Gas has a boiling point of below room temperature and it quickly evaporates at the normal temperature. So, it is supplied in pressurized steel vessels for safety.
