Contact Suppliersimple tree's organic indigo can be used with simple tree's organic henna to dye your hair in your prefeered hair color. One can also mix amla powder in the paste for better nourishment. For hair coloring with henna and indigo you need to have simpletree’s organic henna powder and organic indigo powder. There are two ways to color your hair with henna and indigo, first is the 1 step process and 2nd is the 2 step process. 1 step process: -first step is to mix the desired quantity of henna powder with warm water and let it sit overnight. -now in the dye-released henna paste mix the indigo powder and your henna-indigo paste is ready to be applied. The paste has to be applied immediately. The ratio depends on the color shade that you want. For instance, to get dark brown shade the ratio should be 60% of henna powder and 40 % of indigo powder. -apply the henna-indigo paste liberally over your hair starting at the roots, then cover with foil cap and keep covered with a warm towel or a heating cap. -application time should be between 60 – 120 minutes. 2 step process: -first step is to apply the organic henna powder to your to freshly washed and towel dried hair. To do this kindly follow the step by step process mentioned ‘henna for hair’ section of this leaflet. -24 hours after the henna application on your hair, get ready to apply indigo. Mix the indigo powder with warm water and apply immediately. Do not leave the paste to set, otherwise good results will not come. -apply the indigo paste liberally over your hair starting at the roots, then cover with foil cap and keep covered with a warm towel or a heating cap. Application time should be between 60 – 120 minutes. -the duration you keep the paste on your hair depends on individual hair structure especially if you have fine or thick hair and also the shade of color you want. Longer durations give darker shades and short durations give lighter shades.
