Lead octoate Driers is always used with cobalt and manganese. Lead Drier improves the drying time of double boiled linseed oil & produce very pale & clear boiled oil. Suggested mixture of lead is with cobalt & calcium. Specially for long oil alkyds lead is the most important drier which can be used.
