These modules are manufactured to deliver uniform light intensity over a wide area of display using special light distribution technology. LEDs are bin-sorted for the same light wavelength to deliver perfectly matched colour between modules.LED backlights are preferred over individual LEDs to save on assembly cost and also for better light distribution. Backlights have been proven to be more reliable as an LCD lighting solution as it uses less number of LEDs and therefore, consumes lesser energy.
