The lavender flowers give out the essential oil that is known to be the lavender oil. The flowers grow in a small shrub and are beautifully purple in color.  It takes about 35 pounds of lavender flowers to generate about 15 ml of lavender essential oil.  One of the oils that have countless applications, the lavender oil is known for its immense benefits and a wide array of usages. In ancient times, the lavender oil was used as perfume, for cooking and for bathing reasons. The lavender oil has immense skin benefits when applied topically, calming and soothing benefits when consumed internally. It promotes good sleep, good mental health along with other enormous benefits.

Uses:

• From razor bumps, breakouts to other rashes, lavender oils van soothe the skin on topical application.
• Add a few drops to your fading potpourri to refresh the fragrance
• Rub on hands for rejuvenating the skin of your hands and palms.
• Add a few drops of the oil on to your pillow to promote a stress free and good sleep
• Rub skin with lavender oil when it feels irritation due to exposure to the sun
• Diffuse some oil in the diffuser to reduce stress and tension in the house. It also helps to promote a calm and peaceful mind.
• Use a diffuser to spread the wonderful fragrance at home and keep odors at bay
• Add 1-2 drops of lavender oil in a glass of water and consume internally to reduce stress and fatigue.

Primary Benefits

Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
Internal use:  1- 2 drops in a glass of water
Topical use: Apply 5 to 10 drops to desired area
