Lion- 5 is a pyrethroid group of non-systemic insecticide that acts by contact and stomach action. The product controls sucking and lepidopteron pests in various crops.
It Acts on the nervous system of insects, and disturbs the function of neurons by interaction with the sodium channel.
Lion-5 has little fumigant action and a repellent property also gives rapid knockdown action and long residual activity.
Lion-5 is new generation photostable pyrethroid insecticide used as Broad spectrum for control of Bollworms, aphids, Colorado beetles and butterfly larvae, Jassids, Thrips, Stem Borer, Fruit borer, Leaf folder, Green Leaf hopper, Gall midge, Hispa, Brown plant Hopper and White Backed Plant hopper, Whril Maggot etc.. Crops on which it may be applied include cotton, cereals, hops, ornamentals, potatoes, vegetables, Mango, Rice, Egg-plants, and, others.
