• Ladle Nozzle are formed on heavy-duty presses in harden steel or carbide die by using white fused alumina.
• Nozzles are fired at extremely high temperature in order to increase corrosion resistance to metal and slag the fired nozzles are further processed.
• They are tar impregnated followed by tempering thus leaving of carbon in the pores of the nozzles which impart very good slag resistance property to nozzles.
