Sadaya Guild believes that wood is the finest material for furniture and we are equally aware that wood comes from trees and fuelling that demand causes deforestation. We therefore decided to only source wood that was post-consumer waste and has been used as decking, beams or posts in its first lifetime. Wood not only lends itself marvelously to renewal but in its second avatar it significantly matures into an even more stable, durable and beautiful material. Our carpenters first reclaim this wood and then hand craft it into perfectly joined furniture.
