Jungpana Black Tea

Jungpana tea estate is famous for the muscatel flavor of its teas. Originally planted by the British, the estate passed into the royal hands of the Ranas of Nepal and has been maintained by the Kejriwal family since 1953. The distinct flavor from this estate is a result of the micro-climate on the south side of the mountain where this estate is located. They use pure china bushes and age-old manufacturing techniques which result in the finest examples of richness in flavor. Jungpana has remained the leading quality estate of Darjeeling. This particular tea from the Autumn season is very smooth and has a refresingly sweet flavour. The cup has a floral aroma and a wonderful representative of the season.
