Jacketed Sight Flow Indicator is a very easy assembly of two glasses on single piece body at two opposite size, on average body looks like a cross and it has two side flanges as per customer requested flange dimensions and another two side installation of round toughened, soda lime or tampered borosilicate glasses.

As the body have two sides inspections view arrangements by the help of glass window so it is called as Double (Dual) Window Type Sight Glass Flow Indicator, after that providing a Steam or Hot Oil Jacket to maintain temperature during process and to keep fluids at a lower viscosity to flowing media smoothly and we can check easily.

By the use of very few parts total assembly of double window type jacketed sight flow indicator complete. 

Jacketed Sight Flow Indicator and Sight Glass body length (flange to flange / face to face distance) we provide as per DIN EN 558-1 standard and tailor made on order basis.

Sometimes customer also request for single window design jacketed sight glass assembly to suit their process requirements. Use of these types of sight flow indicator is for spot inspection and view of process parameter.

Depend on process media, its working temperature and working pressure thickness of glass select and selection of the glass is base on DIN 7080 International Standard.

Steam – Thermal Hot Oil Jacketed Sight Glass size up to DN50 (2”) have square shape cover with 04 No. of bolt & nuts, for size DN65 (2-1/2”) & DN80 (3”) have flower type rounded shape cover with 06 No. of bolt & nuts, for DN100 (4”) also have flower type rounded shape cover with 08 No. of bolt & nuts to tight cover + glass + gasket assembly. In our standard manufacturing range up to DN100 (4”) Jacketed Sight Flow Indicator Body & Cover casting quality are Investment Casting (Lost Wax Process) method type, which gives superior surface finish at everywhere in small component too and from big size like DN125 (5”) sand casting method casted body.

Casted Body material of Jacketed Sight Flow Indicators are NACE MR 0175, ASTM A 216 GR. WCB (Cast Carbon Steel), ASTM A 352 GR. LCB / LCC (Low Temperature Carbon Steel), ASTM A 351 GR.
