Deep Explo Equipments Pvt Ltd. was founded by Mr. JK Saxena in the year 1989 at Aligarh. Since then it has been providing explosive companies with the solutions to all their engineering problems. The first explosive factory was founded in 1958 by ICI in Gomia. Mr. JK Saxena worked in this factory for 25 years but took voluntary retirement when he recognized the need for an industry that could provide the necessary support to all explosive industries across India. The company was founded as the need to simplify and optimize the machinery being used was seen. The first special purpose machine developed was the clip packaging machine in 1989 that replaced the rubber band being used to pack explosives with a twisted aluminum wire that was by far safer and had increased productivity due to the automation done with the machine. The multi stage Deep Draw Shell Making Machine and Deep Draw Cup Making Machine developed in 1990 was an answer to the need for an indigenous machine that was better suited to the Indian market. Till 1993 we had developed different variants of both the clip packaging machine as well as the Deep Draw Shell Making Machine. in 1998 a division in Hyderabad was set up that was using the internally developed Shell making machine to produce empty shells and supply them across India. In 2000 we developed and patented the technology for producing steel shells instead of the standard Copper shell which was being used at the time for underground mining. We have also been working for the packaging industry and have developed spares and tooling for foreign packaging machines widely used across India. We also provide modifications and technical help for these machines. By the year 2004 we were exporting engineering items to Poland and were even capable to do turn key projects for the Indian market.
We provide support and expertise for all the non-chemical needs of explosive industries across India. This encompasses all the mechanical nuances of producing an explosive that is to be used in the mining sector or for the defense sector. This includes but is not limited to the Clip packaging Machine, the Detonator plant, Spares and tooling for packaging machines and engineering solutions for special purpose projects. We are currently exporting to over 5 countries like Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Poland, Malaysia and Nigeria. Our 3 Production divisions across India have a production capacity of about 16 million aluminum shells per month and about 3 million steel shells per month.
The current management has been furthering our founder’s vision of making this company a one stop solution for all the non explosive items required by an explosive industry. We aim to become a company that will provide you with all and anything you require to setup an explosive factory, with the core vision of designing and developing custom made machine to reduce man power and increase efficiency.
