Process Scheme
The raw water is initially dosed with Chlorine to oxidize the dissolved iron and also for primary disinfection and Alum for coagulation of the precipitated iron for better settling. Then passed through an aeration tank, here air to be provided by compressor with fine pore diffuser membrane. The aerated water passed to the settling tank. The filtered water is passed through Iron Removal Filter to remove the residual iron content in the water.
