Our frozen peas, IOF frozen peas are made from fresh, sound, insect free, fungal infection free, clean peas. The peas chosen for freezing are fully matured. These peas are washed, depodded and blanched properly to inactivate enzymes. These peas are treated in such a way that they do not lose their color or flavor on consumption. The botanical name of peas is Pisum sativum L. and they belong to Leguminoucae containing color pigment chlorophyll II. This pigment gives out a green color to the peas. These frozen peas do not contain any odor. Their texture is tender and they are spotless. The size of our frozen peas is 7-12 mm and they are round in shape. Their taste is characteristic sweet. There is no foreign matter in the frozen peas we supply and no additives. Their packaging is done in ventilated; clean bags of 50 – 60 kg capacity
