Belt conveyor systems have always been, and still are, among the most common of all item conveyor systems. The reasons for this are many. Firstly, they are easy to install and maintain, as there is only one belt running continuously over the roller mechanism which drives the belt. They are gentle on the items which are placed upon them, because there are no open rollers to jolt the item up and down. They are also extremely familiar to just about anyone who may have to operate them, as they are used in every supermarket.
