A saree or sari is an unstitched rectangular piece of fabric worn by women in the Indian sub continent. The length of a saree varies from 4.5 meters (5 yards) to 8 meters (9 yards) and its width is about 1 meter. Raw materials used in saree are mostly cotton and silk.
