Contact SupplierInconel Alloy 625 is a nonmagnetic, corrosion and oxidation-resistant, nickel-based alloy. Its outstanding strength and toughness in the temperature range cryogenic to 2000°F (1093oC) are derived primarily from the solid solution effects of the refractory metal such as columbium and molybdenum in a nickel-chromium matrix. The alloy has excellent fatigue strength and stress-corrosion cracking resistance to chloride ions. Some typical applications for Alloy 625 have included heat shields, furnace hardware, gas turbine engine ducting, combustion liners and spray bars, chemical plant hardware and special seawater applications. We at Harsh Steel are a Stockholder & Distributor of Inconel Alloy 625 Sheets and Plates. Inconel Alloy 625 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with an addition of niobium that interacts with the molybdenum to tighten the alloys matrix and thereby provides high strength without a strengthening heat treatment. The alloy resists a wide range of severely corrosive environments and is especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. Available in plate and sheet forms. INCONEL 625 is a material with excellent resistance to pitting, crevice and corrosion cracking. It is highly resistant to a wide range of organic and mineral acids, and also has good high temperature strength. It is a favorable choice for seawater applications. They are marine and aerospace industries, chemical processing, nuclear reactors and pollution control equipment.
