Nickel Alloy 617 (UNS N06617) is a nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy with a remarkable consolidation of high-temperature quality and oxidation resistance. The high nickel and chromium contents make the alloy impervious to a mixed bag of both reducing and oxidizing situations, while the aluminum with the chromium gives oxidation resistance at high temperatures.
