These Incoloy 825 Rings (UNS N08825) are often used for components in pickling equipment like heating coils, tanks, baskets and chains. Alloy 825 Circle can be readily welded by the shielded metal-arc process using alloy welding electrode 135, the gas shielded arc processes using alloy filler metal 65, and the resistance welding processes. Alloy 825 Rings has practical immunity to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC), and also resists polythionic acid SCC.
