Mastitis and change in Milk pH-

-In Mastitis, deficiency in Citrate in Udder results into clumping of Calcium ions which results into injury of Udder tissues.

-In Mastitis where normal pH of milk which is in range of 5- 6.7 increases to alkaline i.e  than 7 pH. Alkaline pH helps in growth of micro organisms and increases the severity of disease and inflammation of Udder. 

Lowers Immunity

Udder mechanism and its functioning is compromised due to deficiency of Vitamins and certain Minerals resulting into lowering of Immunity and occurrence of infection.
