dawn 7000 is a systemic insecticide which contains 70%ww imidaclorpid as active ingredient used as foliar spray for the control of sucking insects, including leafplant hoppers, aphids, thrips and white flies brown plant hopper and white backed plant hopper . It is also effective against soil insects, termites & some species of biting insects. It is used as seed dressing, as soil treatment and as foliar treatment in different crops such as rice, cotton, cereals, maize, sugar beets, potatoes, vegetables, citrus fruits, poem fruits and stone fruits etc in accordance with the climatic condition and approval of local authorities. When handled properly according to good agricultural practices it is suitable for use in integrated pest management.
mode of action: systemic insecticide with translaminar activity and with contact and stomach action. Readily taken up by the plant and further distributed acropetally, with good root-systemic action.
compatibility: it is compatible with all the available insecticide and fungicide. But product cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides and other substances.
recommended dose: 75 gm to 125 gm ha or as being recommended by the authorities concerned.
