IEC (Import export code) is required to entities wish to start import export business in India. IEC is required by anyone looking to start quick import/export business in India. IEC code is issued by (DGFT) (Director General of Foreign Trade) under ministry of commerce and industries government of India. Anyone cannot import or export goods without IEC code. IEC code is a 10-digit number with lifetime validity we do not have to renew it but we can update our IEC certificate. Importer or exporter cannot avail benefits of government scheme with IEC code registration.
