    All Mandrels sold or leased by San George Pipeline Equipment Services are single man operated devices and are designed to provide internal pressure on the pipe during the bending process to prevent pipe buckling and eliminate out of round in the bend. The mandrels are available in sizes ranging from 6" through 60".
    Salient points of the Pneumatic Powered 3- Section Mandrels:
    • Adjustable for any wall thickness within specified mandrel range
    • Available in sizes 20" through 36" diameter
    • Units over 16" are self-propelled while Units over 20" are self-leveling
    • Quality built with very low maintenance
    • Conversion Kit to power the Hydraulic Wedge Pipe Bending Mandrel from Bending Machine is optional.
    • For efficient operation, the compressed air pressure should range from 160 to 200 PSI (11.0 to 13.8 BAR)
    • Maximum safe working pressure is 225 PSI (15.5 BAR)
    SGEQUIPS also provides Pneumatic or Hydraulic Wedge Mandrels which are available in sizes ranging from 6" through 60" diameter.
