Contact SupplierClean Oil is necessary to get good performance from your machines/ equipments. Contaminations in oil are responsible for breakdown, losses and replacement of the oil.
Conventional methods of oil purification, viz: filtration, centrifuge and straining, are incapable of adequately cleaning oil, as they remove particles only above 5 microns in size.
These remaining small size particles cause high contamination and therefore require regular changing of oil.
Air breathers and cylinders effectively act as gates of entry to dust particles, which being only 2 microns in size, escape conventional oil purification methods.
The electrostatic cleaning presents a far superior and highly effective method of purifying hydraulic oil. Contaminants caused due to dust, abrasive metallic particles, oxidation, sludge and fine water are removed by this method. Oil cleaned by this method meets NAS class 4/5 requirements. (National Aerospace Standards 1638)
The KEOC 55, KEOC 110, APO-110 machines clean oil by electrostatic process, hence presence of moisture / water content in the oil affects the conductivity of the oil. These machines can clean oil with moisture / water content upto 500 ppm.
However if the moisture / water content in the oil exceeds 500 ppm then our models KEOC-110 DH & FDU 35 are useful. KEOC-110 DH can clean oil with a moisture content upto 1500 ppm.
If the moisture content exceeds 1500 ppm then the moisture has to be removed by FDU-35 (Flash Distillation Unit) then sent for electrostatic cleaning through KEOC-55 / KEOC-110
The Hydraulic Oil in the system may get contaminated from any of the following sources. During manufacturing of components and assembly of systems, burr, chips, weld spatter, casting sand, particles from seals and gaskets, adhesives, paint particles etc. are left in the various components which go into the oil.
Many a times oil is contaminated by the time it arrives at the user’s end.
Air borne dust, dirt, rust, enter into the system and then into the oil through Air breathers, seals etc.
Metal particles that are produced by abrasive wear, erosion and surface fatigue in the system itself.
Contaminations due to surrounding atmosphere and leakages in the system.
