Functions

• The machine is designed to free/loosen only extremely seized/jammed pandrol/elastic rail clip in one setting from the insert of PSC sleeper by a straight, aligned force of 30000kg developed by high pressure hydraulic pump and cylinder combination, without infringing rail traffic and damage to sleeper
• Eliminates-The twisting force on the insert which develops cracking force at the insert of the sleeper
• Improved design does not requires extra fastening J-hooks, time consuming fastening of J-hooks, expertise to set correct anchoring force and clearing of blast on other side of the rail to make space for J-hooks
• The use of conventional hammering and heating method generally used for the extraction of seized elastic rail clip/ pandrol which causes irreversible damage to the sleeper, is not required any more
• Saves the requirement of replacement of damaged sleepers due to broken and seized ERC’s
• The effort required to develop 30000ky extraction force is about 35 kg
• The equipment exerts a co-axial force of 30tons (Max) to the jammed stem of the elastic rail clip
• An extraction stroke of 40mm (Max.)
• The equipment weighs approx.29 kg and can be handled, fitted and operated by two workmen
• Provides a over load valve preset at 25000 kg force
• A thrust pin fits at ram end between a guide arrangement to prevent fly out of pin on load
• A ram retraction spring automatically withdraws the ram on release of pressure
