As the rice starts to cook, the biryani is topped with milk, soaked saffron, browned onions and ghee. Then the pan is covered  with foil and the biryani is allowed to cook on dum on  high flame 10min + 15 min medium flame +15 low flame beautifully with the flavors of the spices and toppings.
