Hulled Sesame Seeds

Among the wide variety of sesame seeds under the agro commodities, hulled sesame seeds are well known and grown in large quantities in Gujarat. Its consumption is substantial in European markets and these countries buy Hulled sesame seeds. Our export of sesame seeds is well known and the supply of our sesame seeds ensures quality. These seeds have a very thin shell also known as husk that is supposed to be removed. This process of removing the husk is called as hulling. Hulling requires huge amounts of water because in the process the sesame seeds are soaked in water in order to reduce the breakages. Being a labor oriented process; we employ a large number of skilled labors are required for hulling. Quality of our sesame is famous in the world market.

Manufacturing and production of the best quality hulled sesame seeds include skilled labor and best technological infrastructure. The seeds with the shell are soaked in water for around 5 to 6 hours. These soaked seeds are then hammered mechanically using large wooden hammers and thereafter the skin is removed. The de-skinned seeds are washed and then dried with the help of machines. We have a state-of-the-art technology employed in our manufacturing unit for maintaining the quality of our products.

Our hulled sesame seeds have different specifications with different characteristics namely: 

• Mechanically Hulled and Sundried: having purity percentage of minimum 99.90 % and maximum admixture percentage of 0.10 % and the moisture content in the hulled sesame seeds is maximum 5.5 %.
• Mechanically Hulled and sun dried with color sortex: having purity of minimum 99.95 % and the maximum admixture of 0.05 % and the moisture content in the hulled sesame seeds is maximum 5.5 %.
• Mechanically Hulled and Mechanically Dried: having purity of minimum 99.95 % and the maximum admixture of 0.05 % and the moisture content in the hulled sesame seeds is maximum 5.0 %.
• Mechanically Hulled and Mechanically Dried with color sortex: having purity of minimum 99.97 % and the maximum admixture of 0.03 % and the moisture content in the hulled sesame seeds is maximum 5.0 %.
