We are a Manufacturer and Exporter of Gear Skiving Hobs in India, used as a gear finishing process to minimize distortion errors that occurred on the gears due to heat treatment. The process is similar to gear hobbing. Skiving can be considered as the alternative method of finishing gears by shaving. It has certain advantages over gear grinding.
The risk of burning marks on the profile as well as miniature surface cracks which are very difficult to detect are eliminated in skiving. The hobs have the economical alternative of grinding and shaving for tempered gears production. The gear production is highly efficient due to its continuous machining sequence make it an effective alternative to broaching and gear shaping. Skiving hobs are supplied with all types of PVD Coatings.
