This very brilliant hessonite weights 3.94 ct., medium peachy-orange color, slightly golden, excellent, roval, "flower" cut, measuring 9.2x8.5x6.55mm., eye flawless, VS type2 from Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan mines of this particular, distinctive color variety of grossular garnet are becoming depleted of gem quality material and very little is available, and it is usually old stock. In few years, this variety will get super rare and very expensive anyway, a simple talk from a gemological point of view. A simply fantastic gemstone!
