Heating Mantles

Heating Mantle offered finds usage in applying heat to containers and acts as an alternative to other forms of heated bath. In contrast to other heating devices like hotplates or Bunsen, these glassware containers can be placed in direct contact with heating mantle without substantially bringing an increase in the risk of glassware shattering as heating element of heating mantle comes insulated from container, thus preventing excessive temperature gradients.
