Heat treated fiberglass sleeving is also used in wire harness assemblies as well as for thermal protection of insulated wires against damage from external heat sources. The high degree of saturability makes fiberglass sleeving an ideal choice for sleeving applications where varnishing or vacuum pressure impregnation is used.
