An audiometry is an exam that tests a person’s ability to hear sounds. An audiometry evaluation is a painless, noninvasive hearing test that measures a person’s ability to hear different sounds, pitches, or frequencies. NOTE : Usually very little preparation is needed for audiometry. If you are known to have wax in your ears you may have this removed before the test so that it does not interfere with the results.
