Product description
Hastelloy Alloy C276 Fasteners are considered to be the most versatile and highly resistance fasteners that found its applicability in many industrial applications. These are nickel-molybdenum-chromium wrought alloy fasteners that excellently performs in a wide range of severe environments. The existence of molybdenum and chromium content makes the nickel alloy steel more resistant especially to crevice and pitting corrosion. In the weld heat affected state, these alloys resist the formation of grain boundary precipitates. The fasteners also resist oxidizing atmosphere up to 1900 F. Furthermore it delivers exceptional resistance to strong solutions such as ferric and cupric chlorides.
The fasteners are heat treated at temperature range 2020 degree F and are quickly quenched. Similarly, these are worked harden with proper care and are readily hot and cold formed.
