Haryana Cow

Haryana Cow is a breed of zebu cattle indigenous to North India. It is the native of Karnal, Rohtak, Hissar, Jind, and Gurgaon districts in the Haryana state. Mostly white / gray in color, the cattle are of medium-large size. The cows are fine milk producers and cost-effective too. This cattle breed of India is good for both, milch and draught. It is known for its better milk quality and purity. Haryana Cows are normally utilized for obtaining fine quality milk. Also, they can bear high temperatures and adopt various environmental conditions.    

Key Characteristics :

• White or slightly ash in color
• Strong, well arranged and tight body
• Yields milk about 3000-3500 kg yearly   
• Its milk contains approximately 5% fat
