These vices are mainly used with precision grinding, milling machines, engraving and jig boring operations.
All surfaces are hardened and precision ground square and parallel to an accuracy of .0004”
The moving jaw has two vees ground into it's face, one vertical the other horizontal to aid gripping round components.
The rapid positioning holes allow the vice to be locked in any position by means on an alien key provided with the vice.
Available in both alloy steel and carbon steel.
It holds work piece securely and accurately.
Hardness : 55 to 60 hrc.
