The 5 2 rows module hard metric connectors are of 5 signals rows with 2 shield rows. similarly the 8 2 rows hard metric connectors module are of 8 signals rows with 2 shield rows in standard pin outs. These connectors comply with iec 60176-4-101 standards.
The hard metric sockets are available with optional bottom and top shields. The mating headers are being available in different tail lengths. The press fit machine offered by ie is users friendly and can press fit the hard metric connectors and also other different types of press fit connectors and sfp cages.
