HAND OPERATED DIVIDING HEAD (Horizontal)

The Horizontal Dividing Head is useful for quick indexing up to 12 divisions on single piece, and batch or mass production where accuracy is indispensable. It is completely enclosed and comprises:
A heavy-duty close grained cast iron base with Brinell hardness of 180 and above.
A hardened and ground dividing plate with 12 notches.
A three- jaw self-centring chuck of 39 mm in diameter which can hold jobs up to 50 mm. Main spindle has a bore of 19mm.
A single indexing and clamping leverBy actuating the indexing lever, the dividing plale can be unlocked when the chuck becomes free to rotate through the required angle. It gets locked automatically as soon as the lever is released.SI. No.
