Guide Rings

The function of the guide ring is to guide the piston head and piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder. At the same time, it prevents any metal-to-metal contact, which will damage and score the surfaces and eventually cause seal damage, leakage and component damage, where forces act perpendicular to the direction of movement.

Guide Rings with rigidity withstand arising side loads, there by prevent further damage.

FASS offer guide rings in two core materials i.e. PTFE Composite and woven fabric reinforced polyester resin material.

These Guide Ring offers high wear-resistance, excellent low vibration & friction properties and more importantly good mechanical stability at high temperature.
