It is useful in preventing the tongue from (either partially or completely) covering the epiglottis, which could prevent the patient from breathing. It’s colour coded for easy size identification, Pryogen free and E.T.O sterile. It mainly used to maintain a patient airway. Guedel Airways is used to maintain an unobstructed oro-pharyngeal airway. Silicone Guedel Airways is made by silicone rubber and reusable. It offered comprise silicon rubber finish based airways that come in non-toxic finish so as to allow for safe and secure end usage.
