Sipcolite Knifing Putty

ü a high durability soft cut metal putty

ü applied by mixing with whiting or chalk powder in the maximum permissible ratio of 10:7 (Putty:Whiting)

ü air drying or stoved

ü butter like consistency

ü does not affect the gloss or other properties of finishing coat enamel applied over it.

ü recommended for use on Metallic Surfacers, for filling of dents, and other surface defects.

Technical Data Sheet- Sipcolite A/D Knifing Putty

Areas of Application	: Ferrous Metal.
Method of Application	: Knifing.

Consistency of supply	: Smooth Paste
Drying Time	:Surface dry-less than 30 minutes. Hard dry-Less than 12 hours.
Finish	: Smooth and matt.
Thinner recommended	:Mineral Turpentine oil
Directions for use	:Sand the surface with Emery paper No. 180. Apply a coat of suitable primer (Sipcolite White Primer for wood, Sipcolite R.P.5 for metallic) depending on the surface of application and allow it to dry for 6-8 Hrs. Apply the putty with a putty knife, filling deep dents with thin layers of the paste. Allow a drying time of 6-8 hrs between coats. Apply a coat of primer before application of finish coats.
