Graphitized Petroleum Coke

High-purity graphitized petroleum coke is made from high quality petroleum coke under a temperature of 2,500-3,500°C. As a high-purity carbon material, it has characteristics of high fixed carbon content, low sulfur, low ash, low porosity etc. Graphitized Petroleum Coke can also be used in plastic and rubber as an additive.
Graphitized Petroleum Coke cannot be called graphite as it is not completely graphitized. Only a part of petroleum coke achieves graphitization and hence the name, Graphitized Petroleum Coke. Since Graphitized Petroleum Coke contains fixed carbon as high as 98-99%, it can be used as carbon raiser (Recarburizer) to produce high quality steel,cast iron and alloy.It can also be used in plastic and rubber as an additive. Graphitized Petroleum Coke has high fixed carbon content and very low sulphur levels making it extremely useful as substitute for graphite in many applications.
