Glass Distillation Apparatus

Distillation units to cover most of the needs of the average laboratory can be built from standard BOROSIL® components. Distillation assemblies for specific applications however are available as complete units, as listed hereiN.Used for determining nitrogen in organic compounds. Both the digestion and distillation stages can be performed in this apparatus. The assembly shown is the distillation stage where the amount of ammonia, and hence, nitrogen is established. The inlet tube allows the permanganate solution to be introduced after distillation. Supplied with an outer interchangeable 2429 joint on the flask and an outer interchangeable 1926 joint on the condenser. * for loose parts please contact sales office.
