Contact SupplierThe girdle pocket elevator- elevates bulk solids continuously. The pockets are filled from inside and completely emptied inside, so that various dry materials can be handled one
after the other. The gapless succession of girdle pockets prevents the loss from spillage, as this will drop without being dispersed into the pocket below.
The elevator strand as the tractive element consists of two endless, steel,-cable- reinforced rubber belts or chains with pockets attached to cross-bars arranged between them. Pocket bottoms are made of flexible, abrasion-proof rubber or metal.
The entire strand has a low dead weight, as - in the standard design - only the pocket side walls, cross-bars, and attaching elements, as well as the tension inserts of the belts are made of steel.
The strand is tensioned at the lower return unit. Drive of the girdle pocket elevator is at the top.
