Indications

Genotropin is indicated for:

Pediatric Patients:

Growth failure due to growth hormone deficiency (GHD)
Turner syndrome
Idiopathic short stature (ISS)
Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS)
Small for gestational age (SGA) with failure to catch up by age 2

Adults:

Adult-onset or childhood-onset GHD

Mechanism of Action

Somatropin in Genotropin stimulates growth and development by promoting the production of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), which helps in the growth of bones, muscles, and other tissues.

Administration

Route: Subcutaneous injection

Storage

Before Reconstitution: Store in a refrigerator at 2°C-8°C (36°F-46°F). Do not freeze. Protect from light.
