• Emboss effect is created using muck (prepared using arabic gum & chalk powder). Glass beads are embedded on muck that would eventually represent the ornaments adorned by the deity.
  
• Gold foil is pasted on the muck and other embossed areas. Relief work is done on the Gold foil giving the painting the 3D effect
  
• Embossed Gold foil makes the crown, golden ornaments, arch and the pillars that are typical components of Tanjore Paintings
