Gi earthing pipes (read strip in pipe technology) are constructed out of low carbon high tensile strength steel pipes with visible isi mark.
the strip & pipe have 100 microns of galvanization which ensures long life of the electrode. The space between the pipe & the strip is filled with crystalline chemical compound for enhanced conductivity. The manufacturing process is in accordance with indian standards for earthing- is: 3043-1987.
