Product Description:
It's a natural, soluble dietary fibre; used in a wide variety of food & food preparations to increase nutritional value. It contains fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) with degree of polymerization (DP) varying from 3 to 5. FOS is abundantly available in fruits and vegetables. It is a prebiotics, which is not digested by the enzymes of the stomach as well as small intestine but easily fermented in the large intestine leading to selective growth of healthy bacteria & suppressed growth of pathogenic ones.
